I feel so good!
The old spark is back,
the energy's flowing,
you've shocked my heart
and set my soul glowing.
You've awakened the beast,
you've summoned a storm,
and now the swamp
in my head's taking form.
You've incited a passion,
and inspired desire,
you came along
and relit my fire.
The fuses are lit,
the gears are turning,
and deep down inside
the old fire's burning.
And on top of all this
I have your warm smile,
to make even the bad times
worth their while.
You've given me life,
you've given me breath,
you've given me back
who I am at my best,
And though we're still young,
and our memories few,
I'm excited at the prospect
of spending life with you.
For there's nothing more precious,
no gift, no present,
than that of a life
one considers pleasant.
With you it's just that,
and so, so much more,
my mind, though insane,
will never be bored,
from now ever on,
as long as you're near,
I know in my heart
